Singapore here we come - Mixed Team

Singapore, here we come!!

The Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Championships starts in Singapore on 11 June. Australia will be represented in the Open, Women's, Senior's and Mixed categories.

The Australian Mixed Team was selected in January this year when 24 teams competed for the right to represent us. The winning team was Jodi Tutty-David Beauchamp and Renee Cooper-Ben Thompson (pictured together).

They are joined by Pele Rankin and Stephen Fischer with Peter Hollands taking on the role of Non-playing Captain. 

Eleven teams will be contesting the Mixed Teams category, they are China, Indonesia, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, Japan, India, China Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore and Australia. David and Jodi were members of last years Mixed Team which won the Gold medal in the Asia Cup.

We wish the team good luck and will be following their progress with great interest.
