This is the hand that causes nightmares.
North opens 1D and then the fun starts.
In all the matches, NS scores, when they played the hand were as follows 3H making, 4H going off either 1 or 3 tricks, 4D doubled down 2, 5D doubled down 3. When EW played the hand, they made 4S once and 5C by East twice.
In 5C by West, if North leads the singleton heart, it goes off easily but if North leads the Ace of diamonds to look or if East plays the hand and leads partners first suit it makes.
When NS play 4H, the defence should succeed easily. The Australian pair beat it 3 on a very delicate defence.
