PABF (Zone 6) Championships - Summary of Results
In the Open, China was a shock non-qualifier for the Bermuda Bowl. Chinese Taipei won the PABF Open Championship but in the subsequent Playoffs, it was Japan and China Hong Kong who join hosts Indonesia and Zone 7's Australia and NZ in the Bermuda Bowl in Bali. Australia came 7th of 12 countries.
The other two events were much more predictable. In the Women's, China won the PABF Championship with Australia 2nd. China and Japan qualified for the Venice Cup in Bali, joining hosts Indonesia and Zone 7's Australia.
The PABF Youth Championship was won by Australia. The Youth Playoffs then resulted in China, Chinese Taipei and Thailand qualifying for the World Junior Teams Championship in Brazil in August.
