2013 Playoffs for Selection of Australian Representative TeamsGeneral InformationThe 2013 Australian Teams Playoffs will be in a teams format*. The Open and Women's Playoffs will be held in December 8-13, 2012 at the Coogee Bay Hotel. Teams will enter based on PQPs earned in the events listed below. PQP awards for each of these events can be found in the PQP Awards Table. More details of the events can be found on the Events page. The Open and Women's Playoffs will follow the two Division model used in 2012 dependent on the number of teams entering the playoff with the additional requirement that all players in either Division must have earned at least 1 PQP in that category (Open or Women's) . Teams will be ranked by their total PQPs after any points not earned within the unit of the Playoff entry have been halved. The top four teams will constitute Division 1. The Seniors' Playoff, to be held on February 13-17, will be a teams event with the format as specified in the supplementary regulations dependent upon numbers. All players must have earned at least 1 Senior PQP. * Proposed formats from the 2012 playoffs are in the following document: 2012 Proposed Open and Women's Playoffs Formats Target events for the 2013 playoffs will probably be the APBF Championships in Hong Kong, exact dates and location to be determined at the 2012 APBF Congress, and the Bermuda Bowl, Venice Cup and Senior Bowl in Bali, September 16-29, 2013.
