The LSWT and BEST run concuurently.  After 9 rounds the two top teams in each field contest the 56 board final.

Linda Stern Women's Teams

The finalists in the Women's Teams were

McLEISH (Paula McLEISH, Jan CORMACK, Lynn KALMIN, Lorna ICHILCIK)and SMART (Di SMART, Felicity BEALE, Rena KAPLAN, Eva CAPLAN)

             

In the final, McLEISH were victorious 182 to 133. The datum winners were Rena KAPLAN and Eva CAPLAN.  David Stern presented the trophy and medallions.

Bobby Evans Seniors' Teams

The two finalists in the Seniors' Teams were

KLINGER (Ron KLINGER, Bill HAUGHIE, Robert KROCHMALIK, Paul LAVINGS, Paul WYER, Robbie VAN RIEL) and NEILL (Bruce NEILL, Richard JEDRYCHOWSKI, Simon HINGE, Kim MORRISON)

         

The final was won by KLINGER 110 to 76.  The winner of the datums by a huge margin were Bruce NEILL and Richard JEDRYCHOWSKI.  Rena Kaplan presented the trophy and medallions.
