How did 6S/E make here? (Match 3, Bd 13)

Say South leads ♥K.
Declarer wins ♥A then cashes trumps and diamonds, without much hope. This the ending:
On dummy's last spade, North has to pitch a heart, declarer the ♣8 and South?
It appears that some South's foolishly pitched the ♣9. Then ♣A followed by ♥J forced South to deliver the last trick to dummy's ♥9.
