TBIB Spring National Open Teams

This year saw a record-equalling field of 62 teams contest the Open Teams.  
At the end of 9 rounds of Swiss Qualifying, the top four places were secured by:

1st       JACOB         150.52  VPs
2nd      FISCHER      117.82  VPs
3rd      DALLEY        117.40  VPs
4th      HAFFER        116.40  VPs

In the two 56 board semi-finals

JACOB      Tom Jacob - Brian Mace - Justin Williams - Johnno Newman                        144.1
                              played and defeated
DALLEY      Paul Dalley - Ashley Bach - Justin Mill - Ervin Otvosi                                    56 

and

FISCHER      Stephen Fischer - David Morgan - Richard Brightling - David Hoffman         139.1
                              played and defeated
HAFFER       Joachim Haffer - Ron Cooper - Matt Smith - Jamie Thompson                        99 

The 56 board Final was therefore fought out between JACOB and FISCHER.

After a hard fought and see-sawing match JACOB emerged the Winner 92.1 to 74.
