Getting around in Amsterdam

As the saying goes “When in Rome do as the Romans do”

 

Having recently had the pleasure of spending a few days in Amsterdam, I can assure that bikes in Amsterdam are nearly like cows in India. They are almost sacred.

 

They have right of passage basically everywhere and everybody seems to have one or more.

 

The only time you don’t ride a bike is on one of the many canals, but this pleasure is mostly reserved for the tourists.

 

The Australian team has decided to ride a bike to the venue.

It appears that the NPC has joined the ranks as well – why not?
