Players coming in the first week should be aware that on Sunday 29th July North Melbourne is playing the West Coast Eagles in Hobart. Accommodation may be in demand that weekend. It would be advisable to book early.
Tattersalls Park Function Centre is about 15 minutes drive from the city centre on a bad day. There are
two Motels nearby – The Riverfront Motel with 61 units, and the Balmoral Motel, both very reasonably
priced and less than 3 kms from the venue. There are heaps of accommodation options in the city and we
will be running a shuttle bus service from designated pick-up points every day.
To secure beds over the first weekend it would be advisable to be
investigating on the web now. Any accommodation in Salamanca, or down by the wharf, would be close to
lots of restaurants and cafes, and within the shuttle pick-up area.
