Regarding Designated International Youth Events in 2003
The venue for the 2003 PABF has been preliminarily set as Manila in the
Philippines.
Due to security concerns, especially in Manila and the Philippines as
well as other parts of South East Asia, the ABF Youth Committee cannot
and will not guarantee that winners of the Youth Butler will compete in
the PABF.
Therefore, until the final venue is announced and the ABFYC can receive
proper and satisfactory assurances as to the safety of the youth participants,
Butler participants should assume that the only designated event for 2003
will be the World Championships.
ABF Youth Committee
